Updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 Detailed Overview:
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been a cornerstone of the brand’s lineup, holding the title of the company’s best-selling model. However, in recent years, it has faced stiff competition from both rival brands and other models within Royal Enfield’s own portfolio. To keep the Classic 350 relevant and appealing, Royal Enfield is introducing an update primarily focused on the bike’s features.
The most significant change expected in the updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 will be addition of LED lighting, which will now come as standard across all variants. This update will bring the Classic 350 in line with modern standards and improve visibility and safety. Besides this, there may be other minor feature enhancements aimed at improving the rider’s experience.
Mechanically, the updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 is not expected to deviate from its current setup. It will continue to feature the reliable 349cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 20hp and 27Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox, offering a smooth and comfortable ride. The bike’s weight, with a full 13-litre fuel tank, stands at 195kg, providing a stable and robust riding experience.
Currently, the Classic 350 is priced between Rs 1.93 lakh and Rs 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). It remains to be seen if Royal Enfield will adjust the pricing with this update, especially considering the competitive landscape.
