Citroen has revamped its popular C3 Aircross SUV, now simply known as the “Aircross SUV,” with significant updates that include a new engine, additional features, and a fresh price range. Starting at Rs 8.49 lakh and going up to Rs 13.99 lakh for the top-spec turbo-automatic variant, Citroen aims to make this SUV even more competitive. Bookings for the new Aircross SUV are open, and deliveries are set to begin from October 8.

New Features on the Citroen Aircross SUV

Citroen has packed the updated Aircross with several new features to enhance both comfort and safety. The top-spec trims now come with LED headlights, automatic air conditioning, and an improved dashboard with soft-touch materials. Other interior upgrades include rear power window switches repositioned to the rear doors, a rear AC vent, and electrically folding wing mirrors. Passengers will also appreciate the new grab handle and the larger sliding armrest for added convenience.

On the safety side, the updated Aircross now offers 6 airbags as standard across all variants, along with seat belt reminders for all passengers, making it a safer option for families. Additional features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a rear parking camera with sensors and hill-start assist.

Citroen Aircross SUV Engine Options

The latest Aircross SUV introduces a new engine option—a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that delivers 82 hp and 115 Nm of torque. Paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, this engine is designed to lower the entry-level price of the Aircross. Citroen continues to offer the 110 hp, 190 Nm 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, which is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Citroen Aircorss SUV Rivals

The Citroen Aircross SUV is positioned against some strong competitors like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Honda Elevate. While it remains one of the more affordable options in its segment, the recent updates aim to bolster its value proposition with more premium features and a new engine option.
