The Korean Car Manufacturer teased the compact sedan Kia K4 which rumored to be replacement of Kia Forte.
Kia posted 3 images on social media for the new K4 and will reveal the compact sedan on 21th March 2024 at New York Auto Show. Kia K4 will be available in the American Market and not sure if its coming to India.
The New Kia K4:
Kia has recently released three intriguing images of the upcoming K4 sedan, offering a sneak peek at its upper half. The images reveal a striking design, including a large sunroof panel reminiscent of the Kia Stinger, which has now been discontinued.
The K4 boasts a sleek profile with a roofline that slopes into a short rear decklid, giving the four-door sedan a coupe-like appearance. The rearmost pillars feature a wide base, a design element seen in other Kia sedans such as the Stinger, the Korean-spec K3, and the electric EV4 concept. In fact, the EV4 concept seems to have influenced some of the K4’s styling, particularly evident in the design of the headlights and taillights.
While specific details about the K4 remain scarce, Kia has described it as a compact sedan, indicating that it will likely compete in the same segment as the current Kia Forte. However, there is speculation that the U.S.-spec K4 could potentially replace both the Forte and the subcompact Kia Rio, which was discontinued after the 2023 model year.
Although Kia has not disclosed the powertrain details of the K4, it is unlikely to be an electric vehicle, given that Kia typically uses the “EV” nomenclature for its electric models. More information about the Kia K4 is expected to be revealed next Thursday.
