Tata Curvv EV gets a range of 585 Km in single charge.
Tata Motors has launched its much-awaited fifth all-electric vehicle, the Curvv EV, in India. Priced between Rs 17.49 lakh and Rs 21.99 lakh, it competes directly with the MG ZS EV, which ranges from Rs 18.98 lakh to Rs 25.44 lakh.

Tata Curvv EV Battery and Performance
The Tata Curvv EV is offered with two battery pack options: a 45kWh unit and a 55kWh unit. The 45kWh battery powers the Creative, Accomplished, and Accomplished+ S variants, providing an MIDC range of 502 km. The 55kWh battery, available in the Accomplished, Accomplished+ S, Empowered+, and Empowered+ A variants, offers a range of 585 km. Tata’s C75 standard suggests a real-world range of 400-425 km for the long-range model and 330-350 km for the 45kWh version.
The 55kWh variants feature a 167hp electric motor on the front axle, while the 45kWh variants have a 150hp motor, both generating 215Nm of torque. The 55kWh version accelerates from 0-100 kph in 8.6 seconds, with a top speed of 160 kph. The 45kWh model does 0-100 kph in 9 seconds. Fast charging capabilities allow the battery to reach 150 km of charge in just 15 minutes and 10-80% in 40 minutes with a 70kW charger.
Tata Curvv EV Interior and Features
The Tata Curvv EV boasts a modern interior with a white and grey dual-tone color scheme. A 12.3-inch floating infotainment touchscreen dominates the dashboard, complemented by a touch-based climate control panel and trapezoidal AC vents. The four-spoke steering wheel, reminiscent of the Harrier’s, includes paddle shifters for adjusting regen modes. Higher variants feature a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a rotary drive selector, and a wireless charging pad.
Top-end models offer leatherette upholstery, ventilated six-way adjustable front seats, a two-step rear seat recline function, and a panoramic sunroof. Other notable features include a 320W 9-speaker JBL sound system, connected car tech, a cooled glove box, and front and rear 45W Type-C charging ports.
Safety is paramount with six airbags, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, hill-start and descent assist, ESP, driver drowsiness alert, blind spot monitoring, and Level 2 ADAS features.

The Tata Curvv EV stands out with a closed-off grille, a nose-mounted charger, and 18-inch aero-optimized alloy wheels. The front and rear LED lights feature a welcome signature, adding to the vehicle’s sophisticated design. The Curvv EV also comes with Tata.ev Originals, allowing buyers to personalize their EV with official accessories.

The Tata Curvv EV primarily competes with the MG ZS EV. However, its pricing also overlaps with other electric vehicles like the Nexon EV and the Mahindra XUV400.
