Suzuki GSX-8R: Engine and Performance

The Suzuki GSX-8R is powered by a 776cc parallel-twin engine, which also powers the V-Strom 800DE, but with a different tuning that gives the GSX-8R an edge in terms of power output. With 82hp and 78Nm of torque, this engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox that includes a bi-directional quickshifter, making gear transitions smooth and enhancing the overall riding experience. The GSX-8R’s performance capabilities make it a standout in its segment, providing more power and torque compared to its adventure counterpart.

Advanced Features for a Premium Ride

The GSX-8R embraces Suzuki’s new design language with a compact, vertically-stacked LED headlamp framed by air intakes, giving it a bold and aggressive look. It also features modern tech such as ride-by-wire throttle, traction control, multiple ride modes, and ABS, ensuring a balance of performance and safety.

The braking system on the GSX-8R is equally impressive, with dual 310mm discs at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear, providing excellent stopping power. The motorcycle rides on cast aluminum wheels wrapped in Dunlop RoadSport 2 tyres, ensuring superior grip and stability.
