KTM 1390 Rally spy shots revealed on the internet the upcoming KTM is inspired by the Austrian bike manufacture Daker Rally.
Following the recent sighting of the KTM 1490 Adventure, new spy shots have surfaced, unveiling the anticipated KTM 1390 Rally. This new model, based on the current 1390 platform which currently only includes the Duke, showcases design elements reminiscent of KTM’s 450 Rally bike and is expected to house the same engine as the 1390 Duke.
The KTM 1390 Rally draws heavy inspiration from the Austrian manufacturer’s Dakar rally bikes, suggesting a stronger emphasis on off-road capabilities compared to the more adventure-focused models. Key design features include a slim front end, split fuel tanks on both sides, and a flat seat, all indicative of its off-road orientation. The frame and swingarm appear to be borrowed from the KTM 1290 Adventure, and the bike is equipped with WP suspension components.
KTM 1350 Rally Design and Features:
The front fascia of the test bike is notable for its vertically stacked projector LED headlights topped with an almost vertical visor. Additionally, a shorter spare visor can be seen tied to the rear seat. The KTM 1390 Rally test model features a double-barrel Akrapovic exhaust, an aluminum bash plate, and handlebar guards, enhancing its rugged appeal. A closer inspection reveals a large vertical instrument console, likely a color TFT screen.
In terms of suspension and braking, the KTM 1390 Rally is outfitted with WP front forks and a monoshock, along with dual front and single rear disc brakes. The bike rides on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear cross-spoke wheels, fitted with off-road tires, underscoring its off-road capabilities.
Currently undergoing testing in Europe, the KTM 1390 Rally is anticipated to launch next year. However, its prospects for entering the Indian market appear slim.
