Skoda has launched an armoured version of its popular Kodiaq SUV, offering enhanced protection with bullet-resistant features. The Kodiaq Armoured is certified to PAS 300 and PAS 301 standards, ensuring top-tier safety against ballistic and explosive threats. Skoda collaborated with security specialists UTAC Special Vehicles to develop this highly secure variant of the first-generation Kodiaq, tailored for individuals requiring maximum safety on the road.

Bulletproof Glass and Reinforced Steel: The Kodiaq Armoured is equipped with bullet-resistant glass and reinforced steel, ensuring protection from firearms and explosives.
Advanced Protection Standards: Certified to meet PAS 300 and PAS 301 standards, it can withstand over 200 rounds of ammunition and explosive impacts to the roof, side, and underbody.
Specialised Emergency Systems: The SUV includes emergency strobe lights integrated into the grille, bumper, and tailgate, alongside a communication hub featuring GPS and emergency control systems.
Enhanced Suspension and Brakes: To maintain agility, Skoda has upgraded the suspension and brakes, while the tyre retention system allows the vehicle to remain mobile even with fully deflated tyres.
Powertrain: The armoured variant retains the same powertrains as the standard Kodiaq model, offering a balance of performance and safety.

The Skoda Kodiaq Armoured offers extensive modifications, including bullet-resistant windows, reinforced steel body panels, and underbody protection. Additionally, the passenger cell has been upgraded to endure high explosives and gunfire. The Kodiaq also boasts a special communications hub with GPS and controls for emergency lights and sirens.
