To mark its 120th anniversary in 2024, Rolls-Royce has unveiled a limited edition of the Ghost, aptly named the Ghost Prism. Only 120 units of this special edition will be produced, each showcasing a series of unique cosmetic enhancements inspired by contemporary design trends, drawing cues from the fashion industry.
The Rolls-Royce Ghost Prism boasts flawlessly finished dark, neutral tones, subtly accented with bold strokes of color, creating a timeless and elegant statement. This contrast between solid forms and bright, spectral hues is what inspired the name Ghost Prism.
The showcased model is presented in Gunmetal grey, featuring a rich mineral finish achieved through an intricate 10-step process. This process includes meticulously applying four layers of paint, followed by 16 hours of hand polishing to achieve the desired effect.
Unlike the classic mirror-polished stainless steel finish, the Ghost Prism features a grille and rear-lid brightwork presented in high-gloss Burnout, a smoked black-grey hue. Each metal piece is meticulously prepared by hand, ensuring a perfect match with the motor car’s coachwork.
In addition to the Gunmetal grey exterior, clients can choose from four bold accent colors – Phoenix Red, Turchese, Mandarin, and Forge Yellow – to complement their selected exterior color. These accent colors are applied to the lower bumper inserts, brake calipers, and coachline, creating a striking contrast.
The interior of the Ghost Prism is equally luxurious, with clients having the option to customize their interior suite with a near-limitless number of bespoke colorways. Early commissions feature a light and vibrant palette, contrasting with the bold exterior of the motor car.
Overall, the Rolls-Royce Ghost Prism is a celebration of luxury and craftsmanship, offering a unique blend of contemporary design and timeless elegance, befitting of the brand’s 120 years of excellence.
The luxury automaker still equipped the 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine. This powerplant churns out 555 bhp and a peak torque of 850 Nm.
