In a recent development, the highly awaited updated version of the Bajaj Pulsar N160 has been sighted at a dealership yard, creating a buzz among motorcycle enthusiasts in anticipation of its imminent launch. In contrast to an earlier test mule, this iteration does not feature an inverted fork, opting for a feature that is sure to be appreciated by tech-savvy riders.
Pulsar N160 Digital Cluster:
The current iteration of the Bajaj Pulsar N160 boasts a semi-digital instrument console, providing essential readouts such as odometer, tachometer, speedometer, distance to empty, instantaneous and average mileage indicators, gear position indicator, clock, fuel gauge, and dual trip meters, in addition to tell-tale lights. However, the upcoming update introduces a noteworthy change, replacing the existing console with a negative LCD instrument panel that offers smartphone connectivity.
Pulsar N160 Connectivity :
In Pulsar N160 equiped with enhanced connectivity feature includes the ability to receive call and SMS alerts, monitor the phone’s battery status, and gauge signal strength. Notably, the new console does not seem to incorporate turn-by-turn navigation. Positioned at the bottom of the console is a dedicated space for displaying crucial warnings, including ABS errors and low-fuel alerts, among others.
Pulsar N160 Powertrain:
The forthcoming Bajaj Pulsar N160 is set to maintain its current 164.82cc single-cylinder air and oil-cooled engine configuration, delivering a robust power output of 15.6bhp and a torque of 14.6Nm, coupled with a 5-speed gearbox. Notably, the engine is undergoing adjustments to accommodate E20 fuel compatibility, allowing it to efficiently run on a blend of 20 percent ethanol mixed with petrol.
In another significant update, the motorcycle is equipped with a redesigned switchgear layout on the left handlebar, featuring a mode button for added functionality. As the unveiling date draws near, motorcycle enthusiasts eagerly await the official launch of the updated Bajaj Pulsar N160, poised to deliver a refined and technologically advanced riding experience.
