The new Land Rover Defender arrives as 110 Sedona Edition.
In the wave of electric the JLR- Earlier known as Land Rover has updated the Land Rover Defender line up with new powerful engines options, new seating arrangements, and a new Sedona Edition based on the Defender 110. The updated powertrain consists of more dominating petrol and diesel engines with a new plug-in hybrid variant.
What has been updated in the 2024 Land Rover Defender?
Powertrain:
The existing D300 diesel powertrain, 3.0-Litre in-line 6-cylinder become more powerful D350 unit producing 345 HP power, (49 Hp more than the D300) and 700 NM torque (50 Nm more than the D300). P400 Petrol and P400e Plug-in Hybrid powertrain has been replaced with P425 and P300e.
The P425 unit continues the 5.0-Litre V8 whereas the P300e now has 1.5 Litre 3-cylinder petrol engine with Plug-in hybrid.
Interior:
The new Land Rover Defender 130 gets an option of a captain seat in the second row, which enhances the luxury to the SUV. The option is available on Defender X and Defender V8 variants. The front seat is powered by 14-way adjustment and the second row captain seat has heating and ventilation. This interior pack will be available for Defender X and Defender V8 and optional on Defender X-Dynamic HSE variants.
Exterior:
The 2024 Land Rover Defender 110 is inspired by Sedona Arizona gets limited Sedona Edition for a year. The special edition features a Sedona Red exterior paint with the extended black package and a 22-inch alloy wheel.
The Land Rover launched Defender in India back in 2020 with the SUV offered in all three body styles, Defender 90, Defender 110, and Defender 130, ranging at price from Rs.97 Lakh to Rs.2.34 Crore(Ex-Showroom).
