A Legacy of Firsts

Inspired by the iconic Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle, the Swift was launched in 2005 with segment-first features such as climate control, airbags, and an anti-lock braking system (ABS). Over the years, it has evolved to include more advanced features while maintaining its core appeal.

Swift’s Global Success

Globally, the Swift has achieved over 6.5 million sales, with India being its largest market. The Swift crossed the one million sales mark in 2013, just eight years after its introduction, and reached two million sales in 2018.

Epic New Swift Details

In May, Maruti Suzuki launched the fourth generation Epic New Swift, starting at a price of Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom). This new model features a fresh design and advanced technology, further solidifying its position in the market.
