Maruti Suzuki India has reached a significant milestone by inaugurating its 500th Nexa sales outlet in Bengaluru, Karnataka. With this addition, Maruti Suzuki’s extensive sales network, comprising Arena, Nexa, and Commercial outlets, now spans 3,925 locations across 2,577 towns and cities.

New Nexa Sales Outlet opened

The inauguration of the 500th Nexa outlet underscores Maruti Suzuki’s commitment to providing an exceptional car-buying experience to its customers. Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, expressed his gratitude towards the customers and dealer partners for their continued trust in the brand. He emphasized that the company’s success is driven by its dedication to surpassing customer expectations and providing a delightful car ownership experience.

Takeuchi highlighted the importance of proximity and buying experience at the company’s sales outlets as crucial factors for customer satisfaction. He further added that as India continues to grow, customer preferences are evolving, and Maruti Suzuki remains focused on meeting these evolving demands through its products and retail experiences. The growing Nexa network is a testament to the company’s efforts to bring the “Joy of Mobility” to as many people as possible.

Launched in July 2015, Nexa was designed to attract new categories of customers. Within just a year, Maruti Suzuki set up 100 Nexa sales outlets across 94 cities. The Nexa retail channel has shown remarkable growth, with over 5.61 lakh vehicles sold in FY 23-24, marking a 54% increase over the previous year.

Nexa now accounts for almost 30% of Maruti Suzuki’s domestic sales, with significant contributions from tier 2 and tier 3 cities. The Nexa lineup includes popular models such as the Ignis, Baleno, Fronx, Ciaz, Jimny, XL6, Grand Vitara, and Invicto, which continue to attract a diverse range of customers across the country.
