Mahindra XUV 3XO launched at price of Rs.7.49 Lakh: Specification, features and Variants

Mahindra XUV 300 now is called as XUV 3XO. 

Mahindra’s most anticipated compact SUV the updated XUV 300 which is now XUV 3XO has launched in India after many teasers dropped on social media. The entry-level  XUV 3XO trim MX1 starts at Rs. 7.49 Lakh and goes up to Rs.15.49 Lakh for the top trim AX7L. The SUV design is inspired by the upcoming electric SUV BE family, The XUV 3XO gets major updates compared to the XUV 300 and also gets an automatic option in MX2 Pro Varient.

Mahindra XUV 3XO Exterior Design:

The XUV 3XO gets quite notable updates such as an angular nose, new LED DRL, updated front bumper, and new headlamp assembly. SUV gets a dual-toned front grille which looks sporty. At the rear, there are LED C-shaped taillights with full-width LED lights across the tailgate. The new 18-inch dark-crome wheels. 

Mahindra XUV 3XO will offer seven exterior colors including Citrine Yellow, Dune Dust, Nebula Blue, Deep Forest, Stealth Black, and Everest White. Higher-spec PRO variants also get dual-tone color options. Mahindra claims a water-wading depth of 350 mm.

Mahindra XUV 3XO Interior and Key Features:

The dash design gives a touch of XUV 400 Ev as per the feature list. but the SUV has more safety features and comfort. 10.25-inch touch-screen infotainment with Android and Apple Car Play and digital driver display. Large panoramic sunroof of size 940 mm long and 870 mm wide and dual-zone climate control. The top variants get all LED light inside. Equipped with 7 Harman Kardon audio systems with a 380W amplifier. the Adrenox Connect in-car connectivity suite, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 65W Type C charging port in the front, a wireless charger, rear AC vents, and a rear Type-C charger. On the dash, a smooth and soft material is used to feel the luxury. The XUV 3XO has a boot space of 295 Litre. A split-folding seat of 60:40 is standard for all variants.

Mahindra XUV 3XO: Engine:

The Mahindra offers both petrol and diesel engine options. For entry-level variants MX1, MX2 PRO, MX3, and AX5 get a 1.2 Litre turbo-petrol engine with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor (17.96kpl) option., ARAI mileage of 18.89 KPL and generate power of 111 Hp. The other variants are 1.5-litre diesel with 6-speed manual (20.6kpl) and 6-speed AMT (21.2kpl) options and deliver 115 HP power. The AX5L variant gets 1.2 Litre direct injection turbo-petrol unit  Aisin-sourced 6-speed torque convertor automatic option (18.2kpl) and costs Rs 1.5 lakh more than its 6-speed manual counterpart (20.1kpl). and deliver 131 HP power.

XUV 3XO has 18 Variants which are less than XUV 300(25 Variants) and comparatively the prices start at Rs.50,000 lower than XUV300. The XUV 300 prices are strategically placed less than other rival compact SUVs. The Kia Sonet price range is Rs. 7.99 Lakh – to 15.75 Lakh and Tata Nexon is Rs 8.15 Lakh to 15.80 Lakh. Whereas, the top variant of XUV 3XO is Rs.15.49 Lakh.

Mahindra offers 9 variants PRO, MX3, MX3 PRO, AX5, AX5 L, AX7 and AX7 L, Its notably amazing even the automatic range starts as low as Rs 9.99 lakh, while the first XUV variant with a sunroof, and the MX2 PRO, starts at Rs 8.99 lakh.
