Mahindra has unveiled a sneak peek of the much-anticipated XUV300 facelift, now named the XUV 3XO, ahead of its official debut scheduled for April 29th. This refreshed sub-four-metre SUV is expected to set the tone for the entire XUV range, including the XUV700 currently on sale and the upcoming XUV500, with a new nomenclature.
XUV 3XO Exterior:
The teaser images of the XUV 3XO showcase several notable updates, including a redesigned front fascia featuring a split headlamp setup, LED projector headlights, circular fog lights, L-shaped LED DRLs, a new diamond-pattern grille, and stylish dual-tone alloy wheels. The SUV will also sport new C-shaped LED taillights, a connected LED light bar on the tailgate, rear wiper and washer, and ‘XUV 3XO’ branding at the rear.
XUV 3XO Interior:
Inside, the 2024 XUV300, or XUV 3XO, is expected to offer a new freestanding touchscreen infotainment system, likely to be a 10.25-inch unit, along with a fully digital instrument console, updated upholstery, revised centre console, and new AC vents.
XUV 3XO Engine and Competitors:
Under the hood, the XUV 3XO is likely to retain the current 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines, paired with six-speed manual and AMT transmissions. Once launched, it will compete against the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite in the subcompact SUV segment. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the official unveiling on April 29th.
