In a significant announcement today, India’s leading SUV manufacturer, Mahindra & Mahindra, launched the highly anticipated 2024 Mahindra XUV700. Priced competitively at a starting point of Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the new XUV700 promises enhanced exterior and interior features, along with an enticing Napoli Black color option.

The XUV700, a stalwart in India’s SUV market, has consistently maintained its popularity, with sales reaching a remarkable 74,434 units in 2023. Since its debut in August 2021, the XUV700 has achieved a remarkable milestone, surpassing 140,000 units in cumulative sales.
Bookings for the 2024 XUV700 open on January 15, with demo vehicles set to arrive at dealerships by January 25. Responding to the high demand, Mahindra has bolstered its production capacity to expedite deliveries of the SUV.
XUV 700 Exterior
The latest iteration of the XUV700 introduces the Napoli Black color option, featuring black roof rails, a grille with chrome accents, and black alloy wheels. Buyers can also opt for a dual-tone variant with a Napoli Black roof. Inside, the AX7 and AX7L variants showcase premium enhancements, including dark chrome air vents and console bezels.

Under the hood, the 2024 XUV700 offers a 2.0-litre petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine, the latter available in two states of tune. The petrol engine delivers 200bhp, while the diesel engine offers 155bhp or 185bhp, depending on the variant. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic, with an optional AWD also available.
XUV 700 Interior & Key Features
A notable addition to the 2024 XUV700 is the availability of captain seats in the AX7 and AX7L
variants, complemented by front-ventilated seats in the AX7L. The AX7L
exclusively incorporates outside rear-view mirrors (ORVMs) with a memory
function.
Furthermore, the 2024 XUV700’s Adrenox suite boasts 13 additional features, bringing the total to an impressive 83 connected car features. This suite includes firmware over-the-air (FOTA) capabilities, a proactive prognosis feature providing timely updates on service needs, and the ‘Ask Mahindra’ concierge service. The M lens functionality enables drivers to scan the SUV’s buttons and indicator lights effortlessly. The features are categorized into key areas such as prognosis alerts, vehicle status, location-based services, safety, remote functions, third-party apps, and novelty-connected features, requiring an active Adrenox subscription for access.
