Lexus LM 350h: Overview of Design, Features, and Specs
Originally launched in 2020, the Lexus LM 350h received its first major update this year following its showcase at the 2023 Auto Expo. While it shares its body structure with the Toyota Vellfire, Lexus has infused its signature luxury touches into the LM 350h, such as a redesigned front fascia with a 3D faux grille and slim LED headlamps complemented by boomerang-shaped DRLs.
The interiors of the LM 350h are designed for ultimate luxury, particularly in the four-seater variant, which comes at a higher price of Rs 2.5 crore (ex-showroom). The MPV boasts premium features like armrest and Ottoman heaters, a separate front and rear audio system, a rear climate concierge, and a refrigerator. It also includes a removable remote panel to control the rear seat functions. For drivers, a 14-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility is available, along with an infrared ray sensor for climate control.
Performance and Powertrain
The Lexus LM 350h is equipped with a 2.5-litre inline 4-cylinder hybrid powertrain, producing a peak output of 246 bhp. The system includes a low-resistance nickel-metal hydride battery that powers the twin-electric motor setup. The front motor generates 134kW, while the rear motor, which activates in low-grip or acceleration scenarios, delivers 40kW of power.
While the exact number of bookings remains undisclosed, Lexus has confirmed that the pause is temporary and bookings will reopen once the supply chain stabilizes and existing orders are fulfilled.
