Kia K4 specifications, features, Trims and launch date revealed.
Kia has released more detailed specifications and information about the upcoming 2025 K4 compact sedan, set to hit U.S. dealerships in the second half of 2024. Following the initial reveal of images showcasing its distinctive design, the new K4 promises to be larger and more feature-rich compared to its predecessor, the Forte.
Kia K4 Powertrain Options:
The 2025 Kia K4 will be available with two powertrain options. Base models will be equipped with a 2.0-liter inline-four engine, while the GT-Line Turbo trim will feature a turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-four engine. The GT-Line Turbo variant of the K4 is expected to offer 190 horsepower, slightly lower than its predecessor.
Kia K4 Size and Design:
Measuring 185.4 inches long and 72.8 inches wide, the K4 is larger than the Forte, providing more rear legroom. However, the trunk space is slightly reduced. The U.S.-spec K4 showcased in the released images features 18-inch wheels and sporty trim elements.
Kia K4 Interior Features:
The interior of the K4 is designed to be screen-heavy, boasting a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a 12.3-inch central infotainment touchscreen, and a 5.0-inch screen for climate controls. Wireless smartphone mirroring is standard, even on the base model. Optional features include heated and ventilated front seats, a Harman Kardon audio system, and a digital key for smartphone-based car unlocking.
Kia K4 Trim Levels:
The 2025 Kia K4 will be available in five trim levels: LX, LXS, EX, GT-Line, and GT-Line Turbo. The GT-Line trims will feature a more sophisticated multilink rear suspension system.
Kia K4 Release Date and Pricing:
The Kia K4 is expected to go on sale in the U.S. in the second half of 2024. Pricing details have not been revealed yet, but it is anticipated to start slightly higher than the Forte, which starts at $21,145.
