Hyundai Grand I10 Nios Dual-Cylinder: What Changes?
The new dual-cylinder CNG variant costs Rs 7,000 more than the existing single-cylinder models and approximately Rs 97,000 more than the equivalent petrol variants. Both the CNG and petrol versions offer the same level of equipment and safety features, making them well-equipped choices in their segment.
The Grand i10 Nios is powered by a 1.2-litre four-cylinder engine that produces 69hp and 95Nm of torque when running on CNG, compared to 83hp and 114Nm on petrol. The CNG version is available only with a 5-speed manual transmission, while the petrol variant also offers a 5-speed AMT option.

In the small CNG hatchback segment, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios faces competition from the Tata Tiago, which also offers a dual-cylinder CNG setup. The Tiago’s manual variants are priced between Rs 6.60 lakh and Rs 8.35 lakh, while its AMT variants range from Rs 7.90 lakh to Rs 8.90 lakh. Another competitor is the Maruti Wagon R CNG, priced between Rs 6.45 lakh and Rs 6.80 lakh, along with the Maruti Celerio CNG at Rs 6.74 lakh.
