Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Interior and Features
The Alcazar facelift’s interior has undergone a significant transformation, closely mirroring the design cues of the popular Hyundai Creta. The most striking update is the new-look dashboard, featuring a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster paired with a 10.25-inch infotainment screen. The dual-tone theme, combining Noble Brown and Haze Navy, adds a premium feel to the cabin, setting it apart from the Creta.
The refreshed interior also offers more comfort and convenience, particularly in the second row. The captain’s chairs have been redesigned with larger headrests and better contouring. Hyundai has removed the fixed center console between the seats, providing easier access to the third row and more space overall. This change addresses previous customer feedback, where buyers expressed a preference for the ability to move between the second-row seats without obstruction. Additionally, the seats now feature improved cushioning, offering better comfort for long journeys.
In terms of features, the Alcazar facelift doesn’t disappoint. The six-seat variant includes cooled seats for all individual seats, while the seven-seat option restricts this feature to the front seats only. A new placement of the wireless and USB charging pad in the second row adds to the convenience. The driver and front passenger seats are both electrically adjustable, with the driver’s seat boasting a memory function and a welcome retract feature.
The center console is now adorned with brushed aluminum trim and houses buttons for drive modes and the electronic parking brake. Higher variants of the Alcazar facelift will also come equipped with automatic climate control, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), a 360-degree camera, and blind-spot assist. While many features from the previous model, such as the LED headlights and panoramic sunroof, carry over, these new additions elevate the Alcazar’s appeal.
Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Powertrain
On the powertrain front, the facelifted Alcazar retains the 160hp, 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine and the 115hp, 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT for the petrol engine, and a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic for the diesel. The SUV also offers multiple traction control modes with presets for snow, sand, and mud.
With the price announcement scheduled for September 9, Hyundai plans to commence deliveries by mid-September. The booking amount is set at Rs 25,000, with eager buyers already placing their orders since August 22, 2024.
