Hero Xtreme 160R 2V: Updated Features for Enhanced Experience
Hero has equipped the Xtreme 160R 2V with several features from the 4V version. One of the standout additions is the drag race timer and the 0-60kph timer, which are exciting tools for riders seeking a sportier experience.
Visually, the 160R 2V now sports the same tail-light design and single-piece seat as the 4V model. Hero claims that the updated seat offers better comfort, with a flatter profile and a lower pillion seat height, enhancing the riding experience for both the rider and the pillion.
Hero Xtreme 160R V2: Engine and Performance
The Hero Xtreme 160R 2V retains the same engine as its predecessor – an air-cooled, 163.2cc, single-cylinder motor that churns out 15hp at 8,500rpm and 14Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. While the performance figures remain the same, the updated features and design tweaks elevate the overall package.
The bike comes with a diamond frame, a telescopic front fork, and a rear monoshock, offering a balanced and comfortable ride. The seat height of 795mm and a curb weight of 145kg with a 12-litre fuel tank makes it manageable and accessible for riders of varying heights.
Hero Xtreme 160R V2 Price
The Hero Xtreme 160R 2V is priced at Rs 1.11 lakh, making it Rs 28,000 more affordable than the 4V version. Despite the cost difference, the 2V retains significant features, making it a compelling option in the 160cc segment. It directly competes with the likes of the Bajaj Pulsar N150 and Yamaha FZ series, both priced slightly higher than the Hero Xtreme 160R 2V.
Hero Xtreme 160R V2 Competitors
The Xtreme 160R 2V sits in a competitive segment with rivals like the Bajaj Pulsar N150 priced at Rs 1.25 lakh and the Yamaha FZ series, which ranges between Rs 1.17 lakh and Rs 1.30 lakh. While the Xtreme 160R 2V may have a simpler feature set compared to these bikes, its competitive pricing and updated features from the 4V variant make it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers who don’t want to compromise on style or performance.
