In the heart of the Indian biking community, Hero MotoCorp’s forthcoming flagship model, the Mavrick 440, has become a focal point of discussions and speculation. As the motorcycle’s launch date approaches, the company has unveiled the first official teaser, providing enthusiasts with a sneak peek into its design and features.
The teaser images offer a glimpse of the Mavrick’s front fascia, showcasing a distinctive round LED headlamp, sleek daytime running lights (DRLs), an offset circular instrument cluster, a single-piece tubular handlebar, and telescopic forks. Another teaser image highlights the top view, revealing the muscular fuel tank, sharp tank extensions reaching towards the front forks, a unified seat, and a substantial pillion grab rail.
Spy shots of the Mavrick 440 have also revealed additional details, including LED turn indicators, diamond-cut alloy wheels, and an exhaust system distinct from its base model, the Harley-Davidson X440. While both motorcycles share the 440cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine, the Mavrick’s tuning may differ. In the X440, this powerhouse delivers 27bhp and 38Nm, coupled with a five-speed gearbox. The Mavrick 440 is expected to feature modern amenities such as smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and a USB charging port.
The much-anticipated Hero Mavrick 440 is set to hit the Indian market on January 23, 2024, with an anticipated price tag of under Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom). Upon its release, the Mavrick 440 will face competition from established models like the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Triumph Speed 400. Motorcycle enthusiasts eagerly await the unveiling of Hero MotoCorp’s latest flagship offering, poised to make waves in the Indian biking landscape.
