Ducati DesertX Rally launched with advanced off-road capabilities.
Ducati added a new member to the dirt bike segment the DesertX Rally at a starting price of Rs.23.71 Lakh. Desert X Rally gets more off-road capabilities than the Ducati DesertX. The deliveries will begin in the last week of May.
DesertX Rally Key Features:
The DesertX Rally features a high front mudguard design with a split brake line for enhanced braking performance. It boasts spoked rims with billet hubs, measuring 21 inches by 2.15 inches at the front and 18 inches by 4 inches at the rear, along with carbon steel spokes and high-strength Takasago Excel rims equipped with inner tubes.
The suspension system comprises a KYB Ø 48 mm closed cartridge fork with 250 mm travel, offering adjustable compression and rebound. The fork tubes are treated with Kashima Coating, while the sliders feature DLC coatings. Additionally, the bike includes machined fork clamps and a KYB shock absorber with a 46 mm piston, providing 240 mm of travel and adjustable compression at high and low speeds, rebound, and preload settings.
It offers a ground clearance of 280 mm and is equipped with an adjustable Öhlins steering damper mounted to the handlebar. The motorcycle sports a dedicated Iron Giant livery and features machined adjustable brake and gear pedals.
DesertX Rally Engine and Driving features:
The DesertX Rally is powered by a Testastretta 11° 937 cc engine, delivering 110 hp at 9,250 rpm and 92 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. It boasts a 21-liter tank capacity for extended rides. The chassis features a tubular steel trellis frame has a cast aluminum double-sided swingarm. It rides on Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires, with a 90/90-21 front and 150/70 R18 rear.
The bike offers six customizable Riding Modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, Wet, Enduro, Rally) and four Power Modes on three power levels. Safety features include Bosch ABS Cornering adjustable on three levels, Ducati Traction Control adjustable on eight levels, Ducati Wheelie Control, and Engine Brake Control.
It also includes Ducati Cruise Control for added convenience. The motorcycle has a 5-inch color TFT instrumentation that supports the Ducati Link App for turn-by-turn navigation. Additional features include a Utility Bar, Ducati Brake Light, Ducati Quick Shift Up & Down (DQS), and a Full LED lighting system.
