Jeep Wrangler Facelift and Rubicon share the same 2.0 L petrol turbo engine.
Jeep India has announced the prices for the updated Wrangler, with the Unlimited variant starting at Rs. 67.65 lakh and the Rubicon variant priced at Rs. 71.65 lakh. This represents a premium of about Rs. 5 lakh over the previous model. The refreshed Wrangler comes with several enhancements, including new grille designs, updated alloy wheels, and a range of interior upgrades.
Jeep Wrangler Exterior:
The Wrangler Unlimited features a new blacked-out grille and 18-inch alloy wheels, along with a new Gorilla glass windshield. It is available in five exterior color options, including the new Sarge Green, along with Bright White, Black, Granite Crystal, and Firecracker Red.
On the other hand, the Wrangler Rubicon also gets an all-black grille and new 17-inch alloy wheels, maintaining its distinctive and rugged appearance. It continues to offer the same color options as the Unlimited model.
Jeep Wrangler Interior:
Inside, both variants receive a new 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen running on Jeep’s latest Uconnect 5 OS. The layout remains similar to the outgoing model, but with adjustments to accommodate the larger touchscreen. Additionally, both models now come with 12-way powered front seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and six airbags, among other features.
Jeep Wrangler Engine and Power:
Powering both the Wrangler Unlimited and Rubicon is the 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, producing 270hp and 400Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The Wrangler retains its off-road capabilities, with Jeep’s Selec-Trac full-time 4WD system as standard, along with impressive approach, departure, and breakover angles.
Rivals:
Despite the price increase, the Wrangler remains more affordable than its closest rival in the market, the Land Rover Defender 110. With its updated features and enhancements, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler continues to offer a compelling option for those seeking a rugged and capable SUV.
