Maserati has officially launched the second-generation GranTurismo in India, offering two distinct variants: the Modena and the top-spec Trofeo. The starting price for the GranTurismo Modena is Rs 2.72 crore, while the Trofeo is priced at Rs 2.90 crore (both prices ex-showroom, India). This luxurious 2+2, two-door coupe combines Italian craftsmanship with powerful performance, making it a top contender in the grand touring segment.

Maserati GranTurismo Modena
The GranTurismo Modena is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbo petrol engine that produces 490hp and 600Nm of torque. This variant can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in just 3.9 seconds. The Modena sports a more refined and elegant appearance compared to the sportier Trofeo, but still boasts impressive features like 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels, a 12.2-inch digital-dial display, a 12.3-inch central infotainment screen, and an 8.8-inch touchscreen for climate controls. Additional features include a digital clock, an optional head-up display, and a premium Sonus fabre audio system.
Maserati GranTurismo Trofeo
The Trofeo variant of the GranTurismo steps up the performance with its V6 engine delivering 550hp and 650Nm of torque, enabling a 0 to 100 kph sprint in just 3.5 seconds. It comes with all-wheel drive (AWD) as standard, ensuring superior handling and grip. The Trofeo’s exterior features more aggressive bumpers, carbon-fibre accents, and newly designed 20-inch front and 21-inch rear alloys. Inside, the Trofeo offers sportier upholstery and interior highlights, differentiating it from the Modena.
Maserati GranTurismo Rivals in India
The Maserati GranTurismo faces stiff competition in the Indian market from other grand tourers. Notable rivals include the BMW M8 Competition priced at Rs 2.44 crore, the Ferrari Roma at Rs 3.76 crore, and the Aston Martin DB12 at Rs 4.59 crore. Each of these vehicles brings its own unique blend of luxury and performance, making the competition in this segment particularly fierce.
Looking Ahead: The GranTurismo Folgore
Maserati has also announced that the all-electric GranTurismo Folgore will be arriving in India in 2025. This upcoming model is expected to push the boundaries of performance and sustainability, further expanding Maserati’s presence in the evolving automotive landscape.
