This bespoke service is crafted by the Bespoke Works team, with operations based in Coventry, UK, or Essen, Germany. It offers owners of the classic Defender a chance to enhance their vehicles with modern technology, updated powertrains, and personalised finishes for both the interior and exterior.

This premium customisation is available for both the Defender 90 and 110 models. JLR Classic utilises donor vehicles produced between 2012 and 2016, meticulously restoring and upgrading them from the ground up to meet customer specifications.

The Defender V8 by Bespoke Works is a mechanical marvel, featuring a completely revamped suspension setup that includes Bilstein dampers, Eibach coil springs, and anti-roll bars. The braking system has also been significantly upgraded with four-piston Alcon brakes and large discs, ensuring that this classic off-roader can handle modern driving demands. At the heart of each vehicle is a 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine, delivering an impressive 400 bhp and 515 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive.

Classic Defender V8 Exterior Design

Externally, the Classic Defender V8 can be customised with a variety of factory-offered colours, from classic shades like Balmoral Green and Marine Blue to more contemporary finishes like Sunset Bronze and Sunrise Copper. Customers can also opt for unique front grille designs, bonnet scripts, and colour finishes for the door handles and trim pieces. Additional features like a roof rack, expedition cage, roof-mounted spotlights, LED light bar, and winch are also available. The vehicle comes equipped with LED headlamps as standard, ensuring it remains as functional as it is stylish.

Classic Defender V8 Interior

Inside, the Classic Defender V8 seamlessly blends traditional design with modern comforts. The vehicle also boasts a contemporary audio system integrated into the centre console, featuring a 3.5-inch touchscreen, satellite navigation, and Bluetooth connectivity.

The Classic Defender V8 is set to make its public debut at the 2024 Goodwood Revival in September, where it will undoubtedly capture the attention of classic car enthusiasts and off-road aficionados alike.
