Audi Q8 Facelift Exterior updates
The teaser video released by Audi showcases some of the key styling updates on the new Q8. The SUV will feature a revised grille with octagonal apertures and unique ‘L’-shaped inserts, adding a fresh touch to its front fascia. The facelift also introduces updated HD Matrix LED headlamps, which are designed to provide superior visibility and a modern aesthetic. At the rear, the Q8 sports new digital OLED tail-lights, enhancing the vehicle’s overall appeal. While the Q8’s signature coupe shape remains unchanged, buyers can look forward to five new alloy wheel designs that are already available in international markets.
Audi Q8 Facelift Interior Update
Inside, the Q8 facelift retains much of the interior layout of its predecessor, with changes primarily focused on new stitching patterns on the upholstery and a selection of new color schemes. The cabin continues to offer a premium experience with features such as twin MMI touchscreens, a four-zone climate control system, a head-up display, heated, ventilated, and massaging seats, and an advanced Bang & Olufsen sound system.
Audi Q8 Facelift Engine and Performance
Under the hood, the India-spec Q8 facelift is expected to retain the 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine. This engine is paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system, delivering an impressive 340hp and 500Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox, ensuring smooth and efficient power delivery to all four wheels.
Audi Q8 Facelift Expected Pricing and Rivals
The current Audi Q8 is priced between Rs 1.07 crore and Rs 1.43 crore (ex-showroom, India), and the facelifted version is likely to see a slight increase in price around Rs 1.35 Crore- 1.60 Crore. Although the Q8 facelift does not have any direct competitors in the Indian market, it will serve as an alternative to more conventional luxury SUVs like the Mercedes-Benz GLE and BMW X5.
With the launch just around the corner, Audi enthusiasts in India can expect a blend of luxury, performance, and cutting-edge technology in the updated Q8.
