The cars feature slim adaptive matrix LED headlights and a distinctive front grille with a fish scale-like texture. While US models will not include the advanced virtual side mirrors found in international versions due to regulatory restrictions, they will still benefit from a low drag coefficient of 0.21.
Audi A6 and S6 E-Tron Variants and Engine
In the US, the lineup will consist of three variants: the A6 RWD Sportback, A6 AWD (Quattro) Sportback, and the high-performance S6 Sportback. Audi claims these vehicles can achieve over 700 kilometers (about 435 miles) on a single charge, though the US EPA rating is expected to be slightly lower. The S6 E-Tron boasts impressive performance, accelerating from 0 to 100 kph in just 3.7 seconds and producing up to 543 horsepower with a top speed of 240 kph.
Audi A6 and S6 E-Tron Features
Inside, the A6 and S6 E-Tron models mirror the modern interior of the Q6 E-Tron, featuring a “digital stage” with three displays, including a 10.9-inch front passenger display. For added convenience, a heads-up display is also available. These vehicles are built on Volkswagen’s new 800-volt Premium Platform Electric (PPE) platform, shared with the Audi Q6 E-Tron and Porsche Macan EV. They come equipped with a 100 kWh battery pack (94.4 kWh usable) and support DC fast charging at 270 kW, allowing for a 10-80% charge in just 21 minutes.
The new A6 and S6 E-Tron models offer a blend of style, technology, and performance, making them strong contenders in the electric sedan market.
