BMW India launched their superbike BMW M 1000 XR in India for Rs.45 Lakh. (ex-showroom) . In India, BMW gets the M Competition Variant which means the M 1000 XR will get a plethora of carbon fibre parts including the wheels, side panels, front wheel cover, and a lot more.

BMW M 1000 XR Exterior and Features:
The new M 1000 XR has a special high-gloss black paint contrast with side panel high glass carbon fiber. About the bodywork, the BMW bike has a sporty and sharp look. The split LED with integrated DRLs.
The compact windscreen and the seamless integration of the fender with the tank are standout design features executed with precision. Contrasting the broader S 1000 XR, the tail section and pillion grab handles are notably slimmer on this bike.
Moreover, the bike showcases meticulous attention to detail, evident in the milled components of the clutch and brake levers, the carbon end cap adorning the titanium silencer, the embroidered M logo on the seats, and other refined elements.
On the chassis front, the bike’s frame is supported by a USD fork with ten-step adjustments for rebound, compression, and preload, along with an adjustable monoshock at the rear. It rolls on 17-inch wheels fitted with a 120-section tire upfront and a 200-section tire at the rear. Braking is managed by twin front discs and a rear disc setup.
The bike boasts an extensive array of electronics, featuring four ride modes—Road, Dynamic, Race, and Race Pro—with three settings each. Complementing these modes are Dynamic Traction Control, wheelie control, and more, all accessible via the 6.5-inch TFT display. Additionally, it offers an OBD interface for the M GPS datalogger and lap timer. Beyond modes, the bike includes launch control, a pitlane speed limiter, and Brake Slide Assist, enabling controlled drifting into corners.
BMW M 1000 XR Powertrain and Performance:
The new BMW M 1000 XR gets a 999 cc inline four-cylinder engine that makes a maximum power of 201 HP at 14,750 RPM and a Maximum torque of 113 NM at 11,000 RPM. BMW claimed a top speed of 278 kmph and acceleration 0-100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds.
BMW has opened the booking across all Motorrad dealerships from today.
