Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Engine and Powertrain

The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS is designed for those who crave the ultimate in performance and luxury. The heart of the V4 RS is its 1,103cc engine, a powerhouse derived from Ducati’s Panigale V4 and Streetfighter V4 models. This engine pumps out an impressive 180hp at 12,250rpm and 118Nm of torque at 9,500rpm, making it the most powerful Multistrada in the lineup, albeit with slightly less torque than the V4 Pikes Peak.

Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Features

One of the standout features of the V4 RS is its lightweight titanium subframe, which reduces the bike’s weight by 2.5kg, enhancing its agility and handling. Additionally, the V4 RS features a dry clutch and an air filter borrowed from the Panigale V4 R, further emphasizing its racing pedigree.

The V4 RS also boasts top-tier components, including electronically adjustable Ohlins suspension and Marchesini forged wheels, both of which contribute to its exceptional ride quality. The bike’s braking performance is enhanced by brake pads sourced from the Panigale V4, while it rolls on high-performance Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4 Corsa tyres, ensuring superior grip and stability.

Despite its advanced features, the Ducati Multistrada V4 RS tips the scales at just 225kg (excluding fuel), making it one of the lighter options in its class. While Ducati has yet to reveal the exact pricing, it’s expected to exceed the price of the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak, which currently retails at ₹31.48 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS is set to be a game-changer in the adventure touring segment, offering unparalleled performance and luxury for riders who demand the very best. Stay tuned for the official launch, as this bike is sure to set new benchmarks in the industry.
