Automobili Lamborghini Unveils Limited Edition Huracán STJ: A Tribute to the V10 Era

The limited edition Huracán STJ, a tribute to Lamborghini’s V10 legacy. With unique design and enhanced performance, it’s a collector’s dream.

Automobili Lamborghini has introduced the Huracán STJ, a limited edition of ten units, marking the final celebration of the super sports car equipped with the iconic V10 engine. This special edition pays homage to the V10 engine, a symbol of Lamborghini’s engineering prowess, which has been a key element in the success of the Huracán family since its debut in 2014. The Huracán STJ will be the last model featuring this engine, as Lamborghini prepares to launch an all-new super sports car equipped with a new hybrid powertrain by the end of the year.

Huracán STJ Design and Performance

Based on the design of the Huracán STO, the Huracán STJ represents the pinnacle of performance achieved in the Huracán family’s history. The STJ, which stands for Super Trofeo Jota, combines the racing spirit of the Huracán STO with exclusive enhancements. The aerodynamic package, developed by Lamborghini Squadra Corse technicians, includes two new carbon fiber aerodynamic appendages (flicks) and an increased rear wing angle to enhance aerodynamic performance by 10%, while maintaining perfect balance.

The Huracán STJ is powered by a 640 CV V10 engine, delivering a maximum torque of 565 Nm at 8000 rpm, controlled by a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and features rear-wheel drive. The car’s mechanical grip has been significantly improved with four adjustable racing-derived shock absorbers and special Bridgestone Potenza Race tires developed for high grip. These enhancements have led to an improvement of more than one second in lap time on the Nardò Technical Center Handling Track compared to the Huracán STO.

Huracán STJ Aesthetics and Exclusivity

The Huracán STJ features two distinct configuration and livery options designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile. The first option combines Grigio Telesto (gray) bodywork with a Nero Noctis (black) roof, Rosso Mars (red), and Bianco Isi (white) details. The cabin features Nero Cosmus (black) Alcantara seats with leather details and contrasting Rosso Alala (red) stitching. The second configuration offers Blu Eliadi (blue) bodywork with a Nero Noctis (black) roof and similar detailing. Both versions include a special, numbered carbon fiber plate marked “1 of 10”, adding to the model’s exclusivity.

In conclusion, the Huracán STJ represents the culmination of Lamborghini’s V10 era, combining stunning design, exceptional performance, and exclusivity in a limited edition package that pays tribute to Lamborghini’s racing heritage.
