Force Gurkha the most anticipated SUV unveiled the specification and updated look. The Force Gurkha gets 5-doors and updates the 3-doors segment. The launch is scheduled for May in India. The booking has been started. By mid-May the deliveries start.
Force Gurkha Augmented Dimension and Design:
The all-new Force Gurkha brings remarkable exterior and interior upgrades, increased dimension, and a powerful diesel engine. The Small Brother 3-doors has an overall length of 3965 mm, a Width of 1865mm, and a Wheelbase of 2400mm.
Whereas, the Big Brother 5-doors has a length of 2825mm, a width of 1865mm, and a Wheelbase of 2865mm. Both 3 & 5-doors share the same ground clearance of 255mm. It has an unmatched 500-litre boot space.
The 5-door can Accommodate 7-passenger and 3-door 4-passenger. The inside height is 2296mm with a roof and 2095 without a roof in 5-door and 2270mm and 2080mm for 3-door. It has increased headroom and overall space. The extended turning radius of 6.3mm improved maneuverability. The weight for Force Gurkha is 2800 kg and 3125 respectively.
Talking about the exterior design it gets iconic LED highlights, a distinctive 2-slat front grille, and a black bumper. The dual-tone 18-inch wheels make it more adventurous. The customers has 4 color options to choose, White, Red, Green and Black.
Force Gurkha Interior and Features:
Inside the cabin, you get an additional 2-seat in the third row has a captain seat in a 5-door variant with upgraded upholstery. The second row has a bench-type seat.
About the feature upgrade now Force Gurkha is equipped with 9-inch infotainment with Android and Apple car play capabilities, a digital instrument cluster, Manual rood mounted AC vents, and Power windows.
Regarding safety, it has dual airbags, 3-point seatbelts, a reverse camera, ABS, and a Tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
Force Gurkha Engine and Performance:
Under the hood, the 5-doors is mounted by a Mercedes-sourced 2.6 L diesel 4-cylinder engine that churns 140 PS power and 320 Nm torque. Also, it has auto-stop/start functionality for enchanting fuel efficiency. It has a 5-speed manual transmission.
The off-road enthusiast can enjoy have a standard 4×4 drivetrain with a low-range transfer case and hand-operated locking front and rear differentials.
Force Gurkha Price and Rivals:
As per our analysis, the price for the new Force Gurkha will be around range Rs. 15 -18 lakh. and may have a warranty of 3 years/1.5 lakh kms.
The Force Gurkha will compete directly with 5-door Mahindra Thar and Maruti Jimny. It will interesting to watch once the Mahindra Thar 5-door enters the market.
