The Fronx for Japan is equipped with a 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild hybrid technology, similar to the version sold in South Africa. It offers multiple variants, with transmission options including a five-speed manual and a six-speed torque converter automatic with paddle shifters. Notably, the AllGrip Select AWD system is available only on the higher trims.
