Lamborghini Urus SE is set to launch in India on August 9 in New Delhi, just four months after its global reveal. The Urus SE is Lamborghini’s second hybrid model, featuring both exterior and interior upgrades.

Lamborghini Urus SE Design and Features

The Urus SE boasts a redesigned bonnet extending further forward, new LED lights, and slimmer headlamps with Matrix technology. It also sports updated front and rear bumpers and a refreshed tailgate section. The SUV comes with 21-, 22-, or 23-inch wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires.

Inside, the Urus SE has updated dashboard panels and air conditioning vents. The highlight is the new 12.3-inch central touchscreen, replacing the older 10.1-inch unit. This larger display, shared with the Revuelto, runs Lamborghini’s latest software.

Lamborghini Urus SE Powertrain and Performance

The Urus SE features a hybrid powertrain, combining a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a plug-in hybrid system and a 25.9kWh lithium-ion battery pack. This setup, along with an electric motor integrated into the 8-speed automatic gearbox, delivers a total output of 800hp and 950Nm of torque.

Lamborghini claims the Urus SE can drive up to 60km on electric power alone. It features an all-wheel-drive system, accelerates from 0-100kph in 3.4 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 312kph.

Lamborghini Urus SE Price and Rivals

The original Urus launched in India in 2018 at Rs 3 crore. Later models, the Urus Performante and Urus S, were priced at Rs 4.22 crore and Rs 4.18 crore, respectively. The Urus SE is expected to be more expensive due to its hybrid technology. It will compete with other luxury performance SUVs like the BMW XM, Audi RSQ8, Lotus Eletre, Porsche Cayenne GTS, and Aston Martin DBX 707.
