Panigale V2 Super Quadro Final Edition:A Tribute to a Legendary Engine
The Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition is a tribute to one of Ducati’s most sophisticated engines. This model features an exclusive livery designed by Drudi Performance in collaboration with the Centro Stile Ducati, making it a true collector’s item. Each unit comes with a certificate of authenticity and a custom motorcycle cover, adding to its exclusivity.
Unique Features and Design
This special edition includes unique elements such as a billet aluminium triple clamp with the model number, a dedicated rider seat, custom dashboard animation, and a special contact key. For enthusiasts who take their bike to the track, Ducati provides kits for removing the license plate and mirrors, as well as a billet aluminium racing tank cap, all included with the bike. The Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition will be available later in October this year.
The Superquadro Engine: A Journey of Excellence
The Superquadro engine first appeared in the 2011 1199 Panigale, known for its high ratio between bore and stroke, delivering unmatched power for a twin-cylinder engine. Over the years, it has evolved into various displacements. The 955 cc version won Ducati its first Supersport world title in 2023 and secured victories in the MotoAmerica Supersport titles in 2022 and 2023.
The engine’s crankcases are crafted using Vacural casting, with aluminium pressed-in cylinder liners featuring NikaSil coating. This design ensures a compact and rigid structure, contributing to an innovative monocoque chassis. The desmodromic distribution includes ‘super-finished’ rocker arms with DLC treatment to reduce friction and enhance durability. The engine’s mixed chain/gear control sets new standards for efficiency and reliability.
