BMW S 1000 XR, What’s Special?

The new BMW S 1000 XR is offered in three striking color options: Blackstorm metallic, Gravityblue metallic with Style Sports, and Lightwhite solid paint/Motorsport with the exclusive M Package. It features a reworked in-line 4-cylinder engine, producing 170hp and 114Nm of torque. This powerhouse allows the bike to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.25 seconds and reach a top speed of 253 km/h.

Enhancements in the design include a completely redesigned seat and a front fairing with sharp edges. The adjustable windshield adds to the bike’s functionality. The seat height is set at 850mm, with an option to lower it further with additional equipment.

Ergonomics have been improved for better control, whether on the road or the race track. The rear section now sports new side panels and air intakes inspired by motorsports, adding a dynamic flair. The radiator trim has a textured finish, and the previously black ‘beak’ fender now matches the body color.

The BMW S 1000 XR boasts an expanded list of standard features, including Touring and Dynamic packages, which cater to both long-distance trips and enhanced performance and comfort. The motorcycle includes Riding Modes Pro, heated grips, and cruise control. The standard Headlight Pro ensures safety during night rides with its adaptive turning light and daytime running lights (DRLs) for better visibility. Other standard features include keyless ride, a 12 Ah battery, and a USB charging option. The optimised Shift Assistant Pro enhances gear-shifting precision.

For those seeking further customization, the optional M Package offers exclusive features. The Light White/M Motorsport paintwork, part of this package, gives the motorcycle a distinctive look. The package also includes the M Sport seat, M lightweight battery, M forged wheels, M Endurance chain, M GPS-Laptrigger, sports silencer, tinted sport windscreen, and black fuel filler cap.

With these comprehensive upgrades and features, the new BMW S 1000 XR sets a high standard in the adventure sport motorcycle segment in India.
