Kia EV6 facelift in South Korea appears to be even more appealing than its predecessor.
Kia has introduced the 2025 EV6 facelift in South Korea, showcasing a host of updates to its exterior, interior, and powertrain.
Highlights:
- Battery Pack of 84 kWh replacing the previous 77.4 kWh unit
- The claimed range of 494 Km per charge in the RWD variant.
- A 350 kW DC fast charging, enabling a 10-80% charge in just 18 minutes.
Kia EV 6 Facelift Exterior:
Externally, the facelifted EV6 features redesigned headlamps with angular LED DRLs, reminiscent of those seen on the EV9 and upcoming EV3 models. The front bumper and grille area have also been revised, complemented by new 19 and 20-inch black & silver alloy wheel designs. While the side and rear profiles remain largely unchanged, subtle tweaks enhance the overall appeal.
Kia EV 6 Facelift Interior:
Inside, the 2025 Kia EV6 facelift boasts a curved screen housing both the digital instrument cluster and central infotainment display, alongside an updated two-spoke steering wheel. Additional features include a digital rear-view mirror, improved head-up display, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Notably, a new fingerprint reader allows drivers to start the EV without the key.
Kia EV 6 Facelift Powertrain and Performance:
The significant upgrade lies in the larger 84 kWh battery pack, replacing the previous 77.4 kWh unit. The RWD variant now offers an extended range of 494 km, with its electric motors delivering 225 BHP and 350 Nm. The dual-motor version sees a power increase to 320 BHP and 605 Nm. Charging has also been improved, with the updated battery supporting up to 350 kW DC fast charging, enabling a 10-80% charge in just 18 minutes.
Kia EV6 Price and Plan to India:
In South Korea, prices for the 2025 Kia EV6 facelift start at approximately $40,500 and reach up to $46,000 for the GT-Line trim. International markets can expect the facelifted EV6 to be introduced shortly after its South Korean debut.
Currently, India has an EV6 available at a price of Rs.60.97 Lakh and the new Facelift Kia EV6 will debut in India next year.
