Skoda unveiled Kushaq Explorer edition today which has adventurous off-road enhancements.
Skoda has introduced a special edition of its popular Kushaq SUV, called the Kushaq Explorer Edition, alongside teasing an upcoming compact SUV. The Explorer Edition, based on the top-spec Style trim, features unique outdoor-themed cosmetic upgrades and enhanced interior equipment. However, Skoda has not yet confirmed if this edition will be available for purchase.
Kushaq Explorer Exterior Design and Features
The Explorer Edition stands out with its vibrant matte green color option, accented by orange highlights on the grille, front bumper, rear spoiler, and side body cladding. The grille, wing mirrors, and badges sport a contrasting black finish. Notably, the Explorer Edition comes equipped with functional off-road upgrades, including 215/65 section all-terrain tires on blacked-out 16-inch wheels, a roof rack with an auxiliary light bar, and orange tow hooks at the front and rear.
Kushaq Explorer Interior and Features Inside
the Explorer Edition continues the matte green theme on the dashboard panel, center console area, and door pads, complemented by black upholstery with contrast red piping. It retains all features from the Style trim, such as the 10.25-inch touchscreen, digital dials, ventilated seats, and sunroof, while adding new features like a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, a head-up display, rear sunshades, and an air purifier.
Kushaq Explorer Powertrain Options:
Mechanically, the Kushaq Explorer Edition remains unchanged, offering both 115hp, 1.0-liter, and 150hp, 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine options with manual and automatic gearboxes. The ride height may vary from the standard model due to the off-road spec wheels.
Market Launch :
The Kushaq Explorer Edition is Skoda’s third special edition of the Kushaq, following the Monte Carlo and Matte Edition models. Skoda is currently evaluating the market potential for this edition, with no official announcement regarding its availability for purchase.
