Jeep Wagoneer Interior Design and Features:

  • The interior showcases a futuristic design with four screens distributed across the dashboard.
  • These screens serve various functions, such as digital instrument display, central infotainment, climate control, and a passenger entertainment screen akin to those found in premium vehicles like the Porsche Cayenne and Mercedes Benz EQE SUV.
  • Noteworthy is the absence of physical buttons inside, except on the steering wheel, reinforcing Jeep’s commitment to a touchscreen-centric interface.

Drive Modes and Terrain Management:

  • The SUV provides a range of driving modes, including snow, sand, eco, sport, and auto, facilitated by a rotary drive selector on the center console.
  • Equipped with Jeep’s 4xe terrain management system, the Wagoneer S ensures adaptability to various driving conditions.

Jeep Wagoneer Exterior:

  • Paying homage to the classic Wagoneer SUV, the electric variant retains iconic design elements like muscular proportions, square wheel arches, and the distinctive 7-slat grille, now illuminated.
  • The exterior also features a full-width LED bar at both the front and rear.

 Powertrain and Platform:

  • Built on the STLA Large platform, the Wagoneer S has the versatility to accommodate 400-volt and 800-volt electric architectures, making it adaptable to hybrid powertrains.
  • The platform offers configuration options for front-wheel, rear-wheel, or all-wheel drive layouts, with battery packs ranging from 85 to 118 kWh.
  • While specific powertrain details remain undisclosed, Jeep promises a robust 600hp and an acceleration of 0-97kph in approximately 3.5 seconds.

Future Plans for India:

  • While there’s no confirmation on the Wagoneer S’s arrival in India, Jeep India has announced plans to launch an electric version of the Compass in 2026. This model, based on the STLA Medium platform, will offer front-wheel and four-wheel drive options, boasting an impressive claimed range of over 700km.
