Key Changes and Features of the Jeep Meridian Facelift

The new Jeep Meridian facelift is available in four trims: Longitude, Longitude Plus, Limited (O), and Overland. The entry-level Longitude trim only comes with a 5-seater configuration, while the rest of the lineup offers both 5-seater and 7-seater options.

Externally, the facelifted Meridian gets minor cosmetic changes, including a redesigned seven-slat grille with chrome studs and newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the dashboard features a new suede finish with copper stitching, and the seats come with new beige upholstery. The 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, carried over from the previous model, are equipped with advanced connectivity features like Alexa Home integration.

One of the biggest upgrades is the introduction of Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) in the top-spec Overland trim. This includes features like adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and lane-keeping assist, enhancing the SUV’s safety and driving convenience. Additionally, Jeep offers more connected car features, improving the tech-savvy experience for buyers.

Interior and Exterior Enhancements

The 5-seater Meridian variant offers a boot space of 670 litres, while the 7-seater variant can provide up to 824 litres of space with the second row folded. With all three rows in use, the 7-seater model has 170 litres of boot space. Although the cabin layout remains unchanged, the updated materials and finishes give the Meridian facelift a more premium feel.

Jeep Meridian Facelift: Engine and Performance

The powertrain remains the same, featuring the reliable 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 170hp and 350Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle also comes in both 4×2 and 4×4 options, catering to different driving needs.

Jeep Meridian Facelift vs. Competition

With the addition of a 5-seater option, the Meridian now competes more closely with its sibling, the Jeep Compass, which is priced between Rs 18.99 lakh and Rs 32.41 lakh. The facelifted Meridian’s starting price undercuts many of its rivals in the premium SUV segment, making it an attractive proposition for buyers looking for a mix of luxury, performance, and affordability.

Final Thoughts

The 2025 Jeep Meridian facelift offers a balanced combination of design updates, feature enhancements, and flexible seating options, making it a compelling choice in the premium SUV market. With prices starting at Rs 24.99 lakh, the facelifted Meridian offers great value for both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations, ensuring it appeals to a broader range of buyers.
