Mercedes E-Class LWB Exterior Highlights
The new E-Class is larger than its predecessor, with an increase in height, length, and wheelbase. Design updates include a new front grille inspired by the Mercedes EQ series, S-Class-style flush door handles, and LED tail lamps featuring a tri-arrow pattern.
Mercedes E-Class LWB Interior and Safety Features
The E-Class LWB focuses on rear-seat luxury, offering reclining seats, thigh support, and sun blinds. The Superscreen layout includes a 14.4-inch central screen, a 12.3-inch passenger display, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel.
This model is the first made-in-India Mercedes to offer a front centre airbag and comes equipped with Level 2 ADAS, which includes Active Brake Assist. The steel spring suspension with selective damping has been fine-tuned for Indian road conditions.
New Mercedes E-Class LWB Price and Competitors
The E-Class LWB is priced higher than its predecessor by Rs 2.5 lakh, and at Rs 78.5 lakh, it’s notably more expensive than its direct rival, the BMW 5 Series (Rs 72.9 lakh). However, the E-Class justifies this premium with additional features and India-specific adaptations.
