The facelift brings a host of improvements, including refreshed exteriors, revamped interiors, and upgraded technology. Here’s a closer look at what’s in store for Audi enthusiasts:
Audi A3 Fresh Design Elements:
The 2025 A3 facelift boasts a redesigned hexagonal grille, wider and flatter than before, flanked by redesigned headlights. The bumper sports large air inlets, and daytime running lights offer four customizable light signatures. The rear end, inspired by the RS3, features a new bumper, reworked taillights, and black inserts. New paint schemes, including District Green, Ascari Blue, and Progressive Red, add a splash of freshness to the lineup.
For off-road enthusiasts, the A3 allstreet comes with rugged elements like roof rails, dark rocker side skirts, larger wheels, and increased ground clearance. Both models offer 18-inch and 19-inch wheels as options.
Audi A3 Enhanced Interior:
Inside, the A3 facelift features a redesigned centre console, new blade design for air-con vents, and a new gear selector design. Standard equipment includes a three-spoke leather steering wheel, air conditioning, front centre armrest, and an ambient light package. The interior lighting has been upgraded, with contour lighting running around the centre console and illuminated cup holders. The fabric panel on the doors is laser-cut for a unique backlighting effect.
The A3 facelift now offers two fabric inlays, including a textured fabric made from recycled polyester and Dinamica microfiber. The Sonos sound system with large speakers enhances the audio experience.
Audi A3 Upgraded Technology:
While the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 12.3-inch driver display are carried over, the A3 facelift features the latest iteration of Audi’s MMI system. Standard safety features include pre sense front, collision avoidance, turn assist, and lane departure warning. Four USB Type-C ports in the front and rear cater to modern connectivity needs. Optional extras include adaptive cruise assist, high-beam assist, and two-zone temperature control.
Audi A3 Engine Options:
In Europe, the A3 facelift will initially offer two engine options. The 35 TFSI 1.5-litre petrol engine delivers 150PS and is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission with mild hybrid assistance. The 35 TDI diesel motor, also producing 150PS, is coupled to a seven-speed automatic unit. More petrol and diesel versions, along with a plug-in hybrid model, will join the lineup later in the year.
Audi A3 Availability:
All A3 models for the European market will be produced at Audi’s Ingolstadt plant and available to order from March. The performance-oriented S3 model will also join the lineup later in the year, promising improved performance and a plug-in hybrid variant.
