2024 MV Agusta Enduro Veloce First look unveiled: The Adventure Tourer

MV Agusta unveiled the adventure tourer bike Enduro Veloce with powerful engine of 931 cc, and other top-notch features.

MV Agusta’s latest offering, the Enduro Veloce, represents a significant step forward for the iconic Italian brand. Building on the success of the limited-edition 2024 LXP Orioli, which showcased MV Agusta’s commitment to exclusivity and performance, the Enduro Veloce marks the beginning of a new era under the majority ownership of Pierer Mobility AG.

The acquisition by Pierer Mobility AG, known for its ownership of KTM, Husqvarna, and GasGas, brings a fresh infusion of capital and stability to MV Agusta, setting the stage for the company to return to profitability after years of financial challenges. The Enduro Veloce, with its blend of advanced technology, performance, and Italian flair, is a clear statement of intent from MV Agusta as it seeks to reclaim its position as a leader in the motorcycle industry.

Enduro Veloce Engine and Performance:

At the heart of the Enduro Veloce is its new 931cc triple engine, a powerplant that sets it apart from its competitors. This liquid-cooled inline-three features four valves per cylinder, double overhead cams, and DLC-coated followers. With a bore and stroke of 81mm by 60.2mm and a compression ratio of 13.4:1, the engine delivers a claimed 124 horsepower at 10,000 rpm and 75 lb-ft of torque at 7,000 rpm. One of the standout features of the engine is its counterrotating crankshaft, a technology borrowed from MV Agusta’s racing experience, which helps improve handling by neutralizing the gyroscopic effect of the wheels’ rotation.

Feeding the engine are three 47mm throttle bodies and a single fuel injector per cylinder, all managed by the advanced MVICS 2.1 system and Mikuni ride-by-wire throttle control. The exhaust system, designed for high performance, includes a pair of catalyzers and an electronically controlled exhaust valve.

The power from the engine is transmitted to the rear wheel through a six-speed extractable gearbox and a hydraulically actuated wet, multiplate clutch. The Enduro Veloce also comes equipped with the Electronically Assisted Shift 4.0 system, which allows for clutchless up- and downshifts, enhancing the riding experience.

Enduro Veloce Electronics:

In terms of electronics, the Enduro Veloce is packed with features designed to enhance performance and safety. A six-axis IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) enables a comprehensive suite of rider aids, including four riding modes (Urban, Touring, Off-Road, and Custom All-Terrain), eight levels of traction control, and two levels of Engine Brake Control. Other features include Launch Control, Front Lift Control, and Rear Wheel Lift-Up Mitigation, all of which contribute to a safer and more controlled riding experience.

The Enduro Veloce also features a sophisticated ABS system with two settings, cruise control, and a full-color 7-inch HD TFT display with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. The display offers multiple customization options and allows for easy navigation through the bike’s menus.

Enduro Veloce Exterior and Built:

Regarding chassis and suspension, the Enduro Veloce features a double cradle steel frame, a removable steel subframe, and an aluminum swingarm. The suspension is handled by Sachs units, with a 48mm inverted fork at the front and a fully adjustable monoshock at the rear, both offering 8.3 inches of travel. The bike rides on Takasago Excel tubeless rims, with a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel, fitted with Bridgestone Battlax A41 tires.

Brembo Stylema calipers take care of braking, with dual 320mm discs at the front and a single 265mm disc at the rear. The cornering ABS system, managed by a Continental MK 100 system, provides additional safety and control.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, the MV Agusta Enduro Veloce is a testament to the brand’s commitment to innovation, performance, and style. With its powerful engine, advanced electronics, and high-quality components, the Enduro Veloce is poised to impact the competitive adventure motorcycle segment.
