The New-Gen Maruti Suzuki Swift will be launched on 9th May.
The other day Maruti Suzuki launched a teaser on social media with dark glimpse. But now on the internet the clear images of new India-spec Maruti Suzuki Swift images are leaked ahead of the launch on 9th May. New Swift was spotted at Maruti Suzuki dealership. The company has already commenced the booking at a token of Rs.11,000. So, drive into the specification.
New Maruti Suzuki Swift Exterior:
The New 2024 India-Spec Swift looks similar to the international model. At first glance, it looks Mini-Cooper, With the black grille, flanked sleek pair of headlamps. The India-Spec also gets LED fog lamps, which is excluded in the international model.
From the side nothing much has changed it looks familiar. The 10-Spoke dual-tone alloy wheels look different compared to the model available overseas. At the rear, the new Swift gets updated LED tail lamps with an inverted C-shaped.
New Maruti Suzuki Swift Interior and Features:
Poking inside the new Swift we can see the interior is inspired by their sister Maruti Fronx and Baleno’s complete black with silver lining interior. The 9-inch digital infotainment with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Traditional analog instrumental cluster. Other bits such as Climate control, Keyless entry with Start/Stop push button, steering mounted audio controls, and cruise control as standard.
In terms of safety, it’s equipped with 6 airbags, electronic stability control, rear parking sensors with camera, and ABS with EBD. As there is no front camera It seems the ADAS will not be available for the India-Spec model of Swift.
New Swift Engine, Price and Rivals:
The New-Gen Swift may be powered with a 1.2 Litre Z-series 3-cylinder petrol engine, Delivering an estimated 85 hp power with 117 nm torque. As per Indian consumer need it may be available in Manual and Automatic transmission options for dynamic experience.
The expected price will be around Rs. 6-6.25 Lakh which is affordable in this segment but competitive,
The New-Gen Swift will directly compete with the Hyundai Grand i10Nios and Tata Punch etc.
