Hyundai India has launched the much-anticipated 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift. This new 7-seater SUV brings a host of design tweaks and feature upgrades, making it a more appealing choice for buyers. Priced at ₹14.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the refreshed Alcazar is set to compete with rivals like the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector, Citroen C3 Aircross, and Kia Carens. With this update, Hyundai aims to boost the Alcazar’s presence in the market.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Bold New Design

The updated Hyundai Alcazar is not just an elongated version of the Creta. It flaunts a bold front fascia with H-shaped LED DRLs, a larger radiator grille, and a wide scuff plate for an aggressive look. The sides showcase fresh 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, bigger rear quarter windows, and bridge-type roof rails. At the rear, a new spoiler, reworked bumper, and skid plate further enhance the SUV’s robust stance. Additionally, the Alcazar gets connected LED taillamps with sequential turn indicators.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Dimensions

The new Alcazar measures 4,560 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,710 mm in height, making it longer, wider, and taller than its predecessor. Despite the changes, the wheelbase remains unchanged at 2,760 mm, offering ample interior space for a comfortable three-row seating arrangement.

Step inside, and the 2024 Alcazar greets you with a refreshed dashboard layout, borrowed from the Creta facelift. The cabin is now dressed in elegant dual-tone shades of noble brown and haze navy, providing a premium feel. The 6-seater variant features ventilated second-row seats with folding armrests for easy third-row access. Other standout features include thigh extenders, a power walk-in device, and a driver memory function for power seats. The Alcazar is packed with tech, including a 10.25-inch infotainment display, Level-2 ADAS, 70+ connected car features, and an 8-speaker Bose sound system.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Engine & Performance

Under the hood, the Alcazar facelift comes with two engine options – a 1.5L diesel engine producing 115 Hp and 250 Nm of torque, and a more powerful 1.5L turbo-petrol engine generating 160 Hp and 253 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, and a 7-speed DCT (for the turbo-petrol engine). The SUV also offers three driving modes (Normal, Eco, Sport) and three traction modes (Snow, Mud, Sand), along with paddle shifters and an idle start-stop system.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Colour Options

The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar is available in a variety of colours, including 9 mono-tone shades and 1 dual-tone option. The new Robust Emerald Matte and Titan Grey Matte add a touch of boldness to the lineup, while familiar shades like Starry Night, Ranger Khakhi, Fiery Red, Abyss Black, and Atlas White continue to be offered. The dual-tone option features Atlas White with a black roof.
